Needed to start immediately: ColdFusion Software Engineer Location: Near John Wayne Airport Status: W2 Employee, Full-Time Relocation: No Telecommute: No Working hours: 8-5PM Mon-Fri Pay: Commensurate with experience Benefits: Standard medical / dental / time-off / holidays Essential skills: ColdFusion versions 5.0 and newer Microsoft SQL versions 2000 and newer Stored procedures XML parsing, importing JavaScript for front-end forms, UI enhancements, etc. Data exchanges through web services, FTP, etc. Some knowledge of payment processing systems Read and write technical documentation Desired skills: High volume optimization both at the application level and database level Requirements gathering and documentation experience Mobile front ends Web services development About the job: The company has been in business since the late 90's and has some well known clients in the publishing industry. The exam engine drives co-branded online testing platforms utilized by professional organizations to train and certify people in their industries. Your day-to-day tasks are broad, but would include such things as system upgrades to the existing engine, bug fixes, and optimization. For the future, we plan to develop mobile versions of the software. This is a full-time opportunity for the right individual. The company expects people to be here 8-5PM Mon-Fri.
