Hello All,

I just finished a 10 month project and am looking for my next gig /
full-time opportunity. At this time I am only interested in companies based
in Orange County, CA.

Some highlights of the last project at ExamWeb, LLC ( http://www.examweb.com
) where I was pretty much the main guy in charge of all things technical
include:

1) Established an issue tracking system used to monitor daily support
requests and ongoing projects, and installed a document tracking system
(SharePoint) for company-wide intelligence.
2) Evaluated for hire and managed other ColdFusion developers.
3) Configured and maintained all Windows-based Systems, including many
dedicated servers hosted with RackSpace, and internal development servers.
Reconfigured and consolidated outdated and unneeded equipment, saving the
company $36-50k annually and improving system-wide performance, reliability,
and availability.
4) Managed DNS, Firewalls, and network connections.
5) Established thorough documentation procedures for requirements gathering
including the use of MindJet for all major projects.
6) Performed ongoing systems analysis to identify bottlenecks in processes -
such as tuning the Microsoft SQL queries and monitoring long-running
ColdFusion queries.
7) Assisted with requirements gathering and meetings with clients.
8) Created detailed work estimates for all new projects and assisted with
sales strategies.
9) Monitored all projects with an online tracking system capable of
identifying potential slippages in schedules.
10) Reported directly to the CEO but for the most part was given the freedom
to make decisions on most things technical-related.

I started in the web development industry around 1996 and adopted ColdFusion
as my primary platform in 1998. Since that time I've been involved with the
creation, maintenance and marketing of many web-based businesses. The
ideal company for me is one with an entrepreneur spirit looking to get a
money-generating idea off the ground with some good planning and overall
good technical know-how. I think like a business person.

I'm also interested in Web Project Management, which I've been doing since I
started a company back in 2000.

I'm available on a corp-to-corp basis or W2.
