Summary: CARFAX, Inc. is seeking a ColdFusion web application developer with significant experience in ColdFusion MX, Oracle and MS SQL Server database development, preferably with experience in an object-oriented (OOP) flavored, model-view-controller (MVC), environment like Model-Glue. We practice Agile Software Development Methodologies using Scrum for general project/program management and Extreme Programming for software development by employing pair programming and test driven development. Qualifications Required:
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Web-based applications development utilizing established software development methodologies. * Must have experience developing object-oriented ColdFusion web-based applications using CFCs and standard frameworks (e.g., ModelGlue, Fusebox, Mach-ii). * Database programming experience using SQL: hands-on experience with Oracle and/or MS SQLServer plus experience with database design and modeling preferred. * HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CFML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, user-defined functions, stored procedures, triggers, and Windows Server running an IIS Web server * Strong abilities to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training and interaction with other team members * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in team atmosphere * Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities Qualifications Desired: * 4-Year Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of working experience.
