Summary This contract Senior Web Developer will work on a team to build, deploy, and support the Internet web site and services for our content and service driven web site. The ideal candidate has significant experience designing, developing and deploying high quality, high volume Internet web sites and has strong database design and analysis skills. He or she must have a great deal of experience related to scaling dynamic content oriented websites with millions of pieces of content serving millions of users. The Web Developer will be expected to participate in all phases of technology development, including design, development, QA, deployment, operations, and performance optimization. The position will require extensive knowledge in application architectures, object-oriented design and development, database design, performance optimization and production environment issues.
