I am seeking to speak with individuals that would be interested in positions with either one of the following descriptions: Position 1 ***There are 2 ColdFusion developer openings with this client based off of this description Description: Selected contract developer will perform Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Documentation, and other work designated under the direction of a Project manager, Project Technical Lead, or AD Manager. With full competency, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities. The position will be located in Des Moines, and will be with an enterprise level client with whom we have an excellent working relationship. Desired Skills: Coldfusion, SQL, DB2, Changeman, Insurance experience is a plus Position #2 ***There are 2 ColdFusion developer openings with this client based off of this description. Description: The qualified candidate will perform Coding, Analysis, Testing, Documentation, and other work designated under the direction of a Technical Lead. Most development will be in Coldfusion on the front end and it would be desirable for candidates to have an understanding of COBOL/Mainframe Environments for the backend systems. Top Skill Sets: ColdFusion Development Experience with/ working knowledge of COBOL and/or CICS. The project is "Address Cleansing". Our client needs to be compliant with addresses for the US Postal Service. They have a lot of addresses that need to be scrubbed (taken off system) since they are not correct anymore. The business challenge is getting these addresses taken off before end of year. If addresses are not correct, these policies will end up going to wrong addresses. When this happen, the USPS would be in violation to the Federal Government. This could create fines for both USPS and our client. Work Environment- The candidates will be working on 2 different platforms- Agent Center (Front/End ColdFusion) and Service Advantage Platform (Back/End COBOL). Developer responsibilities.
