We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our SiteExecutive team.
Skills: 3+ years experience with Cold Fusion (MX7/8) or Java applications. Experience working with AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML/DHTML, Flash, IIS, Microsoft Windows Servers, Photoshop, or Fireworks. Description * Analyze, design, develop, implement and test web-based applications on multiple platforms. Consult with our clients and management team to identify technical requirements and design custom systems for multiple industries (Healthcare, Higher Education, Government, Finance, etc.) using ColdFusion MX, Java, XML, Crystal Reports or DHTML. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of design methodologies and development frameworks and data modeling with either Oracle or SQL Server. * The candidate will work closely with a Content Management System (CMS), leveraging the API to extend CMS functionality to address SAI and client defined requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for testing in a development environment and deploying modules and applications in production environments. * The position requires someone who is able to perform duties independently and proactively and who is also able to work collaboratively with SAI and client team members. The qualified candidate must be able to communicate effectively via all mediums with both technical and non-technical staff. Knowledge of Crystal Reports would be a plus. Requirements * 3+ years developing robust, high volume applications for the web * 3+ years experience with Cold Fusion (MX7/8) or Java applications * Experience working with AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML/DHTML, Flash, IIS, Microsoft Windows Servers, Photoshop, or Fireworks * Database development and SQL query, particularly, intermediate-level expertise in stored procedures. * Experience designing and coding user interfaces using GUI frameworks * Experience with Issue Tracking software is a plus * Strong documentation and debugging/QA skills * Participates in planning and review of new releases and feature sets Full time, direct hire located on-site in Hunt Valley, MD.
