We currently have a 1 Year contract opportunity with option to extend for a year depending on budget approval for a Web Developer (Java Script / Cold Fusion) with our direct federal client located in Washington DC. The candidate needs to be able to pass the standard background investigation for government work and must have worked in the United States for at least 2 years and prefer candidates local to the DC/VA/MD area. Responsibilities: The web developer should have 6+ years of overall IT experience in analyzing, designing, implementing, and support web-related applications. This candidate will be responsible for the overall development and delivery of web applications. The Web Developer will play an important technical and creative role on a team of web application developers, and will be an important part of web development projects from inception to delivery. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the project team by supporting areas including, but not limited to: web interface design, development framework, domain expertise and information management. Requires in-depth knowledge of ColdFusion, Java Script, ColdFusion 7, SQL Server 2008, AJAX, JQuery, Eclipse, and VSS. Must have strong experience writing stored procedures in SQL Server.
