Seasoned Coldfusion Developer Wanted to Work Remotely from Home - Part time - Ontario, Canada
Looking for an experienced CF developer to complete a list of updates on an existing live E-commerce website which is running on CF9. The job consists of approximately 60 hours of work up front and will include an opportunity to provide ongoing maintenance and development for the site in the future. You will be supervised and provided with direction by the existing web developer located in Toronto, Canada. The perfect applicant will have: - A BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required. - Coldfusion, preferably Fusebox Framework experience, AJAX, Flash (at least some skills at integration Flash and CF), SQL server and database experience, E-commerce, SSL, and security knowledge - 5+ years design and development experience for web applications required - Skilled in analyzing website requirements and designing solutions accordingly - Ability to work both independently, and in a team, to achieve design and delivery goals is a must - Proven experience in user-interface design and implementation for web-based solutions - Ability to keep track of your own hours and report them accurately for billing The applicant will be working from their own home/ remotely and must have their own computer/software needed for web development. References from previous employers must be provided and will be checked rigorously, as well as examples of previous websites and contact information for the owners/ employers.
