ColdFusion developer needed to maintain and augment an existing ColdFusion BI (business intelligence) application and associated tools. The application is a reporting tool for data stored in multiple Oracle databases and currently runs on ColdFusion 7 (with an eventual upgrade to ColdFusion 9 planned). The application does not utilize any of the ColdFusion application frameworks (Model-Glue, ColdBox, etc.), so rewriting the application to utilize the framework may be warranted.
Interested candidates must have strong SQL skills and experience constructing queries to run against Oracle. The hired applicant will be expected to learn the business logic used to construct the reports and will work with a data analyst to adjust the reporting algorithms in response to changes made to the underlying data. The position is a 6-month renewable contract position working full-time hours. There is the possibility of being transitioned to a full-time position. Telecommuting is not an option. The salary range for the position is between $60K - $80K.
