Senior Web Application Developer/Team Lead Location: Hunt Valley, MD
Duration: Full Time Position Overview: Systems Alliance has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Web Application Developer/Team Lead. In this role, you will join a rapidly growing team of Web Developers, Project Managers and Business Analysts / Web Consultants who collectively design, develop and deliver Web, intranet and mobile optimized sites and applications built on our SiteExecutive Web Content Management platform. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: ⢠Work with business analysts and project managers to document client requirements, develop use cases and architect technical solutions. ⢠Develop solutions that extend existing web content management system (CMS) product functionality or deliver new functionality ⢠Manage the full software development lifecycle from concept to launch, including project feasibility, analysis, development, data migration, systems integration and consolidation, implementation, documentation, scheduling, user training, GUI and SEO design, and maintenance. ⢠Enforce development standards ⢠Provide technical leadership and mentoring to more junior developers. Education and Experience: ⢠Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of related experience or equivalent of 10+ years of related experience designing and developing websites ⢠Strong capabilities with web technologies including JavaScript, CSS layout, jQuery, HTML/XHTML, and XML/XSLT ⢠Strong capabilities with web application development platforms such as ColdFusion, ASP.NET, PHP or Java ⢠Experience developing database driven web applications, including database design and stored procedure development Other Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ⢠Understanding of user experience and Web development best practices ⢠Prior experience in a client-facing role ⢠Ability to work independently and provide excellent follow-through on tasks ⢠Detail-oriented and proactive ⢠Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment ⢠Team Lead experience is preferred Other Expectations: ⢠Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills ⢠High degree of initiative and self-direction ⢠Astute critical thinking and problem-solving skills Contact: Send resume in MS Word format, date of availability, salary requirements and professional references to Stephanie Anderson, [email protected], 410-343-7211.
