M3 USA/MDLinx is seeking a Web Application Developer for a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced developer who works well as part of a team, but who also as the ability to work on projects and complete them with minimal supervision as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Tasks will include:
- Designing, coding, and deploying applications on the Web and Mobile Web - Maintaining existing web and mobile web applications - Database development including DDL (tables, views, stored procedures) and DML (analyzing and optimizing existing SQL code, writing new queries) - Troubleshooting, debugging, and unit testing Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent education/experience required. - 5+ years' experience with ColdFusion and 3+ years' experience with ColdFusion 7 or greater, including object-oriented development with CFCs, required. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required. - Strong working knowledge of SQL required, experience with Oracle strongly preferred. - Preferred experience with Solr search engine. - Preferred experience with Eclipse-based IDE (e.g., ColdFusion Builder). - Preferred experience with JavaScript framework such as jQuery or ExtJS. - Preferred experience with Java in general and Android SDK in particular.
