ColdFusion Developer- Orlando, FL As part of a planned expansion, our client is hiring permanent full time web developers to develop advanced marketing, sales, communications, and human resources software.
To be considered for this full-time on premises Orlando area position, an ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and at least two to three years of practical hands on experience with the following: HTML/CSS -- HTML elements such as links, tables, layers, lists, and form objects and the CSS styles which can be applied to them. JavaScript -- Client side form validation, thorough understanding of the DOM, and basic understanding of AJAX principles. Programming Methodology -- Code Indentation, commenting, source control, basic project management concepts, testing, and debugging. Able to gather requirements and understand business logic. Know how to find answers to syntax questions. Can give a detailed account in an interview of an entertaining or educational situation where the candidate created a bug that wreaked mayhem, was very difficult to solve, or otherwise impressively humbled the developer. ColdFusion -- Variable scopes, loops, queries and records sets, conditional statements and logic, basic string manipulation, includes, scheduled tasks, regular expressions, cfscript, web services, components, user defined functions, cookies, user sessions, security, encryption, and email. Have worked on a web application with 10 or more simultaneous users. *If the applicant is willing to learn ColdFusion quickly and has equivalent experience in another web language, they are welcome to apply and will be considered. SQL -- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar: table creation, relationships, joins, primary and secondary keys, identities, delete, insert, complex multi join select, aggregates, stored procedures, views, indexes, basic performance tuning concepts, normalization, and triggers. Server Concepts and Administration -- Some hands on experience with basic server administration in a windows environment.
