OVERVIEW<br> <br> This is an excellent opportunity to join our software engineering team and contribute to the successful delivery of corporate and client based software solutions. We are a ColdFusion shop, and if you have that special skill and extensive knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, Java and years of developing applications online; youre the one we are looking for! Team members are responsible for participating in application development efforts focused on the delivery of new features, enhancements and ongoing maintenance. Our software development environment is nimble and fast-paced. Team members will also be required to assist with operational production support as needed.<br> <br> <br> Responsibilities: <br> <br> ? Participate in the software development process including application design and application development<br> ? Able to plan/track a wide variety of tasks/activities<br> ? Interact closely with customers, other developers, requirements analysts, testers, and operations team.<br> ? Heavy Documentation<br> <br> Necessary Skills :<br> <br> ? 3 -5 yrs of experience in Cold Fusion<br> ? Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 (Including high availability, usability, performance tuning, etc.)<br> ? Experience with jQuery/JSON/AJAX/JavaScript.<br> ? Ability to create and conceptualize various degrees of code using a multi-tier development framework (i.e. Coldbox )<br> ? Development of ColdFusion 8/9 applications using ColdFusion Components (CFCs) with Object Oriented design/patterns<br> ? Need to have excellent communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.<br> Preferred Skills:<br> ? Hibernate familiarity and experience <br> ?
