Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will write, debug and test applications for our custom in-house ERP systems: > Write and debug business applications in Pick/BASIC, ColdFusion and SQL Server stored procedures > Work with end users to troubleshoot issues with existing code > Work with end users to understand the business requirements for new systems and enhancements > Write technical specifications and associated documentation > Work with other developers and end users to test application systems prior to launch > Write and execute test plans for unit testing and integrated testing > Manage source code changes using SVN Requirements > Bachelor degree in a technical field > At least two (2) years of experience with: - Pick operating system such as UniVerse or UniData - Pick/BASIC or similar programming language > Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server stored procedures, and ColdFusion > Experience with software version control systems such as SVN > Experience with basic Unix commands and cron scheduling > Understanding of database and table design > Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) > Application development skills for business and accounting applications and integration applications > Ability to write clear technical specifications and documentation > Team player with strong attention to detail We offer a competitive compensation package, an excellent benefits package which includes a profit-based bonus program, health and dental insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, life insurance, long-term disability, a non-smoking business casual environment, and more.
