Audatex is currently seeking a Software Engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan to help 
expand and redefine our growing portfolio of software services.

SUMMARY
You will actively participate in the design, development and implementation of 
Audatex Systems. These systems are the foundation upon which Audatex products 
and customer solutions and applications are developed. This position focuses on 
developing ColdFusion based web applications, including our AutoWatch, 
ClaimWatch and ShopBackRoom products. We expect a high level of knowledge with 
ColdFusion, XHTML and Javascript, but any additional knowledge with other 
technologies would give you an advantage. We are looking for individuals 
passionate about developing great software. Obsessed about performance, 
reliability and producing readable code.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Work collaboratively with Customers, Upper Management, Development Managers, 
Architecture, QA and other Software Developers in producing quality software 
products utilizing best practice methodology and technology. 
•Collaborate with different development teams throughout the US and other 
international locations.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•5 years of experience in Software Development. 
•Hands-on experience developing ColdFusion.
•A passion for Software Development, regardless of language.
•Knowledge of client-side technologies, including HTML, Javascript, AJAX and 
JQuery.
•Knowledge of Object-oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
•Proficiency with MySQL or MSSQL, including familiarity with stored 
procedures, triggers, indexes, views, and all normal SQL syntax.
•Ability to create compliant HTML using CSS and XHTML or HTML5.
•Familiar with a variety of operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
•Ability to consume and create SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
•Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company 
both verbally and in writing.
•Ability to accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and 
projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for 
problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals.
•Ability to perform special assignments as requested by the Management team 
or Product Development.

Additionally, any of the following preferred knowledge is very helpful:
•A working knowledge of C#, Java or VB.
•Knowledge of unit-testing frameworks.
•Knowledge of Source Control systems (such as SVN).
•Knowledge of processes such as Agile and Test-driven development.
•Knowledge of Mobile development frameworks such as Android SDK and/or iOS.
