Job Description: We need to optimize and expand our existing online business application. Our SaaS application has live clients in the cloud for 4 years. We are a business services firm looking for a part-time software development professional to scale this software. Candidates should have a passion for web development with a long-term vision of creating awesome software solutions.
Part-time or independent contractors okay. Additional hours are possible depending on how much you can achieve at first. We have plenty to do. This could be an opportunity to be lead developer on an innovative and expanding cloud-based software solution with very large business clients. We are ready to establish a technology partner, who if successful, could manage other graphic designers and developers. Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate is intuitive, fast, and can predict issues before they occur. You can work independently, but a loner wonât fit here. We need to collaborate and be in communication. We have something pretty good here, and it can change the field that we are in. Your knowledge of Software Architecture is also key, as responsibilities will include scaling and securing the system as it grows. Straight-up coders is not what we need, has to be someone who can show that theyâve delivered on the big picture with a SaaS application. We like people who accomplish the goals they set. They embrace new and different solutions; explore new web technologies; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications and participate in trade organizations to continuously add value. Software: REQUIRED: ColdFusion 9, jquery, SQL Server 2008, previous SaaS experience RECOMMENDED: ColdFusion 10, Email Servers, E-Commerce/Merchant Services, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) At this point, USA located candidates only please.
