The Senior Web Developer is responsible for developing award winning websites, maintaining, enhancing and extending our proprietary CMS and developing custom software solutions. The Senior Web Developer will participate in executing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (Discovery, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment). This role reports to the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities: ⢠Execute the on-time and on-budget delivery of defect-free software that meets the project requirements and adheres to project requirements under the direction of the Director of Engineering ⢠Collaborate with client services team to review business objectives and provide solutions for client needs ⢠Provide quotes to Account Managers to help create budgets and schedules for work ⢠Maintain budgets and schedules of projects and communicate issues as soon as they arise to the appropriate people ⢠Work with account managers and clients to resolve problems that occur with products and services ⢠Collaborate with design team on potential client designs to ensure all ideas can be achieved ⢠Bring best practices and opportunities for reuse or refactoring across applications to the Director of Engineering to improve efficiency of the engineering department ⢠Complete documentation of jobs and issues as requested by the Director of Engineering ⢠Participate in department collaborations as requested and provide technical insight ⢠Explore, research and implement development tools, trends and emerging technologies that will contribute to the betterment of the firm Requirements: ⢠HTML, CSS and âResponsiveâ (PC, tablet, phone) experience ⢠JavaScript framework/JQuery ⢠Cold Fusion 7-10 or other scripting languages ⢠PHP or WordPress experience a plus ⢠SQL Server ⢠Stored procedures experience a plus ⢠IIS management ⢠Knowledge approval analytics (Google Analytics) ⢠SEO experience preferred ⢠3-5 yearsâ experience ⢠Bachelorâs degree or equivalent work experience ⢠Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of audiences â engineers, customers, non-technical employees, etc. ⢠High degree of competency within all phases of project management including: 1. Issue and risk identification and management 2. Change management 3. Tracking dependencies and milestones 4. Communication of overall project status ⢠Strong desire, passion, and commitment to learning new business and new applications ⢠Ability to develop strategies, and build relationships across the organization ⢠Ability to work with outside vendors and 3rd party consultants ⢠Highly organized ⢠Thorough and detail oriented ⢠Excellent problem solving skills ⢠Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership abilities ⢠Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with customers ⢠Experience working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment ⢠Motivated and results-oriented, able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment ⢠Website experience required ⢠Hospitality industry is a plus Compensation: Interactive Sites, Inc. offers medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid vacation, and 401(k).
