I am currently evaluating BSDi, however, at this time, it is not possible to run it on FreeBSD, Coldfusion requires too many Library files and specialized linux-only items, that without a complete recompile, coldfusion may not run. I have heard about others getting it to run, but I myself, have not seen it running in a BSD environment. -Jesse -----Original Message----- From: Joshua Miller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, December 14, 2000 6:01 AM To: CF-Linux Subject: CF-Linux on FreeBDS or BSDi Is it possible to run CF-Linux on FreeBSD or BSDi with the patch that allows Linux apps to be run on either of these? I know you can run some Linux apps on BSD systems, but I didn't know if CF-Linux requires anything that can't be provided using this method. I'm not a Linux or Unix user, but we have a client that wants to run CF on their FreeBSD server, any help appreciated! Joshua Miller Web Development Eagle Technologies Group, Inc.
