  You DO need X, if you install a server with no X windows stuff, it 
won't work.

  The dependency is a JVM issue and not CF as such as well. I found some 
of the supporting utilities that come with the JVM wouldn't work until 
this set of libraries are installed.

  For the life of me I can't remember the additional package I needed 
and I didn't write it down - it appears I didn't have this issue when I 
shifted the CF server from Fedora Core 4 to Redhat AS4.
