I am running CFMX 7.02 multiserver and Apache 2.0 all patched up on SUSE
Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP3. I am running 4 instances (plus the main
cfusion instance == 5) in cluster mode on the same machine. I am also
using the init scripts found on the talkingtree.com blog. What happens,
and it started under 7.01, is that my server will be running fine, then
all of a sudden CFMX stops responding completely. Then I use the init
scripts to stop the CF services (jrun instances) starting with the 5th
instance then 4th, and so on until it tries to unload the last instance
which is the cfusion instance, then it just fails to unload. I have to
do a killall -9 jrun to completely unload it. Once unloaded, though I
can start it back up and everything is fine. It wouldn't be so bad if
it wasn't happening once every day or two, and we don't know about it
until our users start calling. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
For now I've setup another CF server from scratch in VMWare. Thanks in
advance.
