Hi, Thanks for your help:) I was thinking that coldfusion started on system init, as I checked all the options which included that option(like on my Mac), but I guess not.
if I cd /opt/jrun4/bin and ./jrun -start cfusion then I am good. It seems that after viewing and closing down the browser, I have to re-start cfrusion again. Not such a big deal, still getting used to Linux. Sounds like you have the standalone version installed, I did not see that option in the install. At some point I would like to get it working with apache, but right now I am happy using CF on Linux.
