Ed,

There can be several things happening here.

Is this a CF error or a DB error your receiving?

Are these servers accessing the same code on a shared file server?  (Just in
case there is a code difference.)

Check to make sure your running the same updates on Red Hat, CF and your JVM
on both machines.
