CF7 is not supported on that OS version.  CF8 is, if you can use that.

I've read you can do 4-5 hacks to get it working on that OS version, but 
I've never tried it.  There is a blog post about it somewhere, I think 
on TalkingTree.

CF7 will work on CentOS 4.6 just fine.
