First Opening:

Our growing new media department is looking for a Multimedia Director and
Lingo Programmer to build interactive CD-ROMs, kiosk applications and online
materials for public involvement and presentation development. You will work
with a knowledgeable content and graphics production team to insure timely
delivery of all projects and ensure correct documentation and archiving of
Director assets. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-recognized,
award winning new media department during its exciting growth phase.

TITLE: 
Multimedia Programmer 

JOB SUMMARY:
To develop and implement a variety of Macromedia Director-based multimedia
CD-ROM, Shockwave and kiosk projects. Additional responsibilities include
assisting DB programmer with additional web management programming.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
To demonstrate a high-level ability in Director/Lingo. � To build
interactive CD-ROMs, kiosk applications and online materials for public
involvement and presentation development. � To develop and implement dB
connectivity, via Director Lingo, for Web and CD-ROM applications. � To
develop and implement object-oriented authoring techniques (using Lingo) and
methods that improve the development process. � To assist with
programming/web management as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
A strong background in the development of interactive multimedia. �
Experience with OOP, cross platform/cross browser delivery, HTML, Flash,
Shockwave, and NetLingo. � Proven ability to deliver both Windows and Mac
titles. � A working knowledge of single-frame animation and custom palette
implementation. � Ability to integrate the work of multiple Director
programmers. � Knowledge with Windows platforms, Xtras integration, and
Internet enabling. � Adept with debugging, and with code structuring. �
Experience in Web development, including the implementation of Shockwave
movies. � Ability to prioritize tasks and to work well under pressure. �
Willingness to take direction and to be a strong team player. 
Additional skills a definite plus: � CFM or JSP development � PhotoShop �
Fireworks � Flash � PC Hardware Maintenance

TITLE:
Media Designer

SUMMARY:
The Media Designer will work with a multi-disciplinary team on interactive
projects such as web sites, CD-ROM, kiosks, video and presentations as well
as print and logo design. You will use the latest technologies to design
interfaces from conception through execution and provide production and
maintenance support on multimedia and web site projects. 

JOB FUNCTIONS: 
� Take abstract concepts and turn them into visually exciting graphics. 
� Develop web site design and concept, ensuring ease of navigation and clear
communication
� Build web pages using a variety of graphics software applications,
techniques, and tools.
� Ensure materials are produced to the customer's specification in a timely
manner. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related area plus 2 years of
experience in graphic design. Looking for a very creative person with strong
communication and graphic design skills, with an emphasis on typography and
information design. Must be able to take direction from senior creative
individuals and do what it takes to produce work on time. Must have
excellent PC/Macintosh skills and be proficient in HTML, PhotoShop,
Illustrator, Quark, Director/Shockwave, Flash, GIF animation, ImageReady,
and Fireworks.
