I am attaching an example that I use. I haven't had problems with
formatting not coming into excel.

This example works with CF5 and Excel 2002.

We've always used the custom tag CF_Query2Excel and have not experienced
the loss of formatting.

When exporting a CFQUERY resultset to MS Excel I lose date and number
formatting. This makes sense to me. But just in case, does anyone
know if there is a way to retain that formatting in Excel.
