I am specifying allowed MIMI types in the CFFILE tag but do not have a blank one. The error says that "/" Mimi Type is not allowed so I am thinking that will solve the problem. But will it create another is the question now? Wouldn't you be able to upload any file if you remove the ext?

Also, in IIS, if that's what you're using, you can go to the properties of your web site, on the HTTP Headers tab, and click on the File Types button at the bottom, atleast in my version, and maybe try playing around with adding a blank mime type there?
