Hi, I have a question what is the easiest way for somebody with no programming experience to work with dynamic web sites? I am telling my boss that it is ColdFusion, and my agreement is if somebody knows html and maybe a little javaScript then since ColdFusion is "tagged" based then it is the easiest way. This was me a few years ago and I think that CF makes making dynamic web apps possible for the newbie.
I told him that there are other languages such as asp jsp php as well as others, but with no programming experience to get data from a database and display it to the web page is hard using these other languages, whereas this is easy in ColdFusion. I would love to hear some other opinions on this. yes I am trying to convince my boss to get a CF 8 server, but wants to make sure it is the best investment in the long run. Thanks so much, John ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Enterprise web applications, build robust, secure scalable apps today - Try it now ColdFusion Today ColdFusion 8 beta - Build next generation apps Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Newbie/message.cfm/messageid:3049 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Newbie/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.15
