Why not store the winners in a table.  Associate the entry with a question
or set of questions  and check each entry against the winners table to see
if a winner already exists.

Simple as pie.

Hope you guys are doing good...

Ok to the point...

On my site, I am trying to sepparate a player from the rest of other
players. Explaining myself better, my site goes like this. you answer a few
questions, and if you are the first one to submit it, you win, but what I
don't know how to do (well I do, but it's a tedious/not so good as code goes
method) is that after the first person that submits the questions right, any
other person that subkits the questions right, they get a message that says,
"thank you for playing, we already have a winner for this game, please try
your luck again next time" or somethign of that sort.

how would I achieve this?
