And one quick note, Im not sure you are using a correct CFDIV ID: in your
post CFDIV has ID as WidgetArea, so I beleive you should use:
<li id="TheWidget" value="#WidgetID#"
onclick="javascript:ColdFusion.navigate('widgetDescription.cfm?WidgetID=#WidgetID#',WidgetArea');">#WidgetName#
- #WidgetID#</li>
