I have some questions for other North American VAR sales partners since I
was unable to get a straight answer from the Allaire/Macromedia Sales
Partners program managers. Hope someone can help me figure out some things
about the price lists.

A/MM is currently running promotions for CF Enterprise/Professional
w/subscriptions and JRun Enterprise w/subscriptions. There are two
promotional price lists in the Members Only partner site (both with
effective dates of 16 April 2001). The first promotional price list has
"Domestic Channel Additional Promotions" at the top of the page, the other
has "Direct Additional Promotions" at the top. Both of these price lists
have the same four versions of CF Enterprise and the same two versions of CF
Pro (but they use different Macromedia SKUs). The second list (Direct),
however, includes the promotional pricing for JRun whereas the first does
not.

My first question is, as a N.Amer. VAR sales partner, am I only to be
concerned with the first (Domestic Channel) list? I have to assume so since
none of the SKUs on the second (Direct) list are available when I look them
up on Ingram Micro's site. So, if I understand this correctly, I cannot
offer the promotional pricing for the JRun specials, correct?

A follow-up question is what is the difference between Domestic Channel and
Indirect partners?

Interestingly, there is also a Summary of Promotions cheat sheet in the
members only site that shows the availability of the above mentioned
promotions to the various channels (Direct, Indirect, GSA, Education, etc.),
but there is no mention of the "Domestic" channel. Any idea why this is the
case?

Thanks for any insight on this.
