Phil,
1. From a Windows taskbar, select Start -> Run.
2. Use two backslashes before the IP address of the remote server (e.g.
\\38.200.100.1)
3. Log in using the proper login and password. This will enable you to
connect with the server manager.
4. Run Server Manager. If you are not using Windows NT server, you will
need to download the Server Tools from
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q173/6/73.ASP
5. Select Computer -> Domain and enter two backslashes and the IP address
as you did while mapping the server as a local drive.
6. Select Computer -> Services and find the Cold Fusion service.
7. Hit the stop button and wait until complete. You will then be able to
hit the start button and the service will be available.
