We've been having a similar problem. We've turned off scheduled tasks,
upgraded ADO (to 2.6), traced all sorts of things.

The problem we have is that the unresponsive thread count climbs up and
eventually kills the server. We have two processors and have noticed that
one processor will be maxxed while the other is idle. The processors
alternate in activity and the average is always near 50%.

We're having to stop and restart cfserver twice a day to combat this.

Any help is appreciated as Allaire has been useless in solving the problem.

we are having similar issues.. we've had to essentially offload some
scheduled tasks to another server because of this. However, this is still
happening. Not quite so often, but it still happens regardless. If you can
find any resolutions to this problem, please let me know.

Subject: Threading issue

I am are having a problem with a thread being held open. I have set
performance monitor so I can see all the threads. Occasionally I have a
thread that goes to 100% and eventually eats up memory and causes slow
performance. Stopping and starting CF services seems to solve the problem.
Looking through the logs I see error messages "warning unresponsive thread
count." This goes from 1 to usually 10 and then our site locks up. Anyone
have any thoughts on the cause? It seems to be a coding error that we can't
track down or a memory leak. Has anyone seen this before?

Mike
