And this is why Bill Gates is a billionaire. Using a single platform and/or
language is very convenient from a maintenance aspect, but the extra time
you spend trying to bend a resource to do what you want will come back to
bite you in the end.
Windows NT would never have the meager market it has now if it weren't for
all the new system engineers who are comfortable in it's touchy feely
interface. When spec'ing out a real system, you use unix. Why? Not because
it's simple, but because that's the best tool for the job.
