We're running a significant number of CF apps using CF Server
4.5.1/Stronghold Apache on a Sun E250 (Solaris 2.6), and have not had any
significant problems. If you're not already doing so, consider bouncing the
server daily (at your lowest hit time). We did have some problems with
earlier versions of CF, but upgrading to 4.5 and doing the daily bounce
seems to have minimized them.
