If your talking about TCP/IP settings then why not setup a DHCP server on
your home network and tell you laptop to obtain an address automatically. If
your not using DHCP at work you can still hardcode a default gateway into
your TCP/IP settings that will work in the office but be overwritten at
home.

I know this is off topic but maybe someone can point me in the
right direction.

I have a network setup at home and a network setup at the office.
Both have different host computers and configurations that I
continuously have to change when I start my laptop at each
location. Is there a 2nd party software available or is there a
better way to change these settings without having to go manually
do this everytime I change networks?

thanks in advance,
kaigler
