With pure C/C++ you can write anything !!. If you know VB you can write
COM/DCOM object and extend the cf capabilities.
If you work serius, you must write COM/DCOM object in C/C++ (It's more
reliable).

You could write a COM object with VB, but your not going to be able to write
a true CFX tag that I know of with VB.  Your options there are C++, Delphi,
or JAVA.  I guess it really depends on what your doing and need your
tag/object to do.

vb sucks but still it that possible.
