Steve,

"would I need to upgrade Cold Fusion to the Enterprise edition or is there a way to
get the Pro edition to read Informix?"

I think CFMX ENT includes the Data-Direct drivers for Informix...if you want to
upgrade.

Otherwise
You can get the IBM JDBC Type IV Driver for Informix here.
http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/product.jsp?cat=data&S_TACT=&S_CMP=&id=MBEN-4ZKP2T&s=c&type=

Havent played around with Informix...but probably all you need
is the *.jar file, place it in the cfmx/lib and enter the classpath in cfide defined
and create an "Other" datasource with driver class and url.

Hope this helps.

Hello All,

If I am running Cold Fusion MX Pro edition and need to access an
Informix database running on a Sun server, would I need to upgrade Cold
Fusion to the Enterprise edition or is there a way to get the Pro
edition to read Informix?
