CFMX uses JDBC, not ODBC. JDBC datasources have no registry entries at all,
and are listed only in the appropriate XML configuration file. CFMX does
come with an ODBC bridge of sorts, which allows CFMX to talk to ODBC
datasources, but it's my understanding that this should only generally be
used if you can't find a JDBC driver for your database. I'm pretty sure that
CFMX doesn't automatically register information for existing ODBC
datasources, too.
