Maybe we're getting somewhere.  When I do that I only get one error in
the log instead of 3; still the same error though.  I'm wondering if
this is purely a cosmetic error or if I'm going to run into problems on
this down the road if I don't figure out what's causing this and fix it.

Try adding the datasource through the windows control panel first.
