Folks,
We're in the process of upgrading from CFMX 6.1 to CFMX 7 on our Solaris
servers. We're running standalone, with the default 8500 server turned
off, and CF connected to iPlanet 6.0 SP8. Upon successful installation
and connection to iPlanet, any attempt to load the CF Administrator
returns:
Error Occurred While Processing Request
The Graphing service is not available.
This exception is usually caused by service startup failure.
Please check your server configuration.
In checking the server logs and such, I find (in server.log):

I've searched and posted on MM forums, and dug through HOF and other
mailing lists. So far, no go. I've seen some postings where it is
indicated to set the JVM to headless, but I also saw a note where that
disables CFCHART functionality, which isn't a big deal. I've seen lots
of posts for Linux and Mac OS X, but no Solaris. I've also seen
information on dealing with a J2EE configuration, but that's not our
environment either.
Other than the CF Administrator, everything appears to work fine. Pages
load as they should and everything, so my only issue is I can't set up
datasources. I'm going to attempt to do so via the Dreamweaver
extensions, but I really would like to have access to my Administrator
site back. At this point we're stopped in our upgrade plans until we
find a solution that will get us through this problem.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
