That is not normal. Can you get a more detailed breakdown of what 
happens? I.e., between which loglines is the delay exactly (most easily 
seen if you run JRun from the command line instead of a service)? Is the 
system at 100% CPU? How much network traffic is there during this 
period? Etc.
