What the heck is going on? Is this normal?
That is not normal. Can you get a more detailed breakdown of what happens? I.e., between which loglines is the delay exactly (most easily seen if you run JRun from the command line instead of a service)? Is the system at 100% CPU? How much network traffic is there during this period? Etc.
