We have made the decision to encrypt the connection between our ColdFusion servers and the Oracle database we use. We installed the Oracle thin client drivers and created new connections to our databases. Everything is fine except for a few stored procedures. Seems the thin client does not support all Oracle functions (go figure - it's their drivers). So my question is, does anyone know if the latest DataDirect drivers (v 3.7 I believe) work OK for this? Is anyone using them? Does Adobe have plans to update their current drivers to this version? Are there other options we should consider?
