I need to install CF 8 on a Server 2008 box running in 64 bit mode. I know how
to make the standard edition behave nicely on a 64 bit box so that is not the
issue.

I need to have the developer edition install as 32 bit, not 64 bit. Since you
do not provide a serial number during the install to get the developer the
install routines install as the bit level as the underlying OS.

This requirement is necessary as the 64 bit CF will NOT talk with the 32 bit
ODBC drivers that I need to use. I know where the 32 bit driver applet is
located in Server 2008 and have established the data sources. CF does not see
these ODBC datasources.

Is there a way to force CF8 to install in 32 bit mode on a 64 bit box when
installing as a developer edition?
