Yes, you will need to install CF on both servers, or manually copy the
parts of CF that are needed on the web server. The few times I've
configured distributed mode I've just installed CF on both servers.
Also, the filesystem paths for your CF scripts need to match on both
servers.

Not really - just google "Apache reverse proxy" or "IIS reverse proxy"
and you'll find lots of good stuff!
