The blog entry blocked? No worries, this is what it says:

There are lot enhancements done in ColdFusion wrt Solr in 9.0.1. There are
few issues but: If you are running into this exception
""java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/ccil/cowan/tagsoup/Parser" while
indexing documents, you will need the following jar in ColdFusion lib
directory:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7302119/tagsoup-1.2.jar
This happens when some binary files like .nfo are indexed and ColdFusion is
unable to parse the file.

Cheers

Yeah I saw that. Unfortunately my company has it blocked for some reason.

Will ask today if I can get to the site.

Thanks,
Garth

Just googled "org/ccil/cowan/tagsoup/Parser solr" and this was the first
result:

http://bloggeraroundthecorner.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/coldfusion-updater-901-
and-solr.html

which seems to refer to the same issue you are having.

Dave, thank you for your response. In red below, I've tried to answer the
questions you've asked.

Are you able to index other sorts of content on that server? YES, I've
created collections for the following: .rtf, .html.

What is CF's classpath? Below is a small snippet from the server settings
summary screen

CF Server Java Class Path

;D:/ColdFusion9/runtime/../lib/activation.jar;
D:/ColdFusion9/runtime/../lib/ant-launcher.jar;
D:/ColdFusion9/runtime/../lib/ant.jar;
D:/ColdFusion9/runtime/../lib/antlr-2.7.6.jar;
D:/ColdFusion9/runtime/../lib/apache-solr-core.jar;
D:/ColdFusion9/runtime/../lib/apache-solr-solrj.jar;

Has it been changed at all from the default? I have not and I'm unaware of
anybody else within my group touching it. Question: With adding the cf9HF1,
would that have changed anything?

Have other Java classes or libraries been added to the locations specified
by the classpath? I have not, but I would wonder if by adding cfhf1 changed
anything.

Thanks again for you help,

Garth
