No, unfortunately it did not.  I contacted the database supplier and got the 
newest driver files directly from them, put them on my server, made sure they 
were in the same location as noted in the class path on the Java/JVM page in CF 
Admin, and restarted CF --  still got the same Java error when I tried to 
verify the datasource.  I do not know what else to do.  This is a critical 
datasource.
