With a hidden frame and some javascript its possible.. After losing focus
the javascript will refresh the page in the hidden frame, in turn refreshing
the query (with whatever data you send to the hidden frame), then on the
hidden frame have some javascript that takes the results from the query and
passes them back to the visible page.. it has a refresh but basically
invisible =)

Subject: Dynamic query without page refresh - possible?

Everyone:

I'm wondering if the following is possible:

Say you have a text field box where you can enter a model number. What
I'm looking to do as soon as that text box looses focus, a query could be
run to find that part number and display a description and other things
WITHOUT the page needing to be refreshed or a form posted.

Is it possible? And if so, any pointers or references would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks.
