The most puzzling thing about this scenario to me is the fact that this
works only from the machine it's hosted on. Is any of your application code
tied in any way to a variable created by the IP of the visitor or anything
else specific to the visitor? Maybe some code that for some reason ties it
to the server IP or hostname in some places and the visitor's in others?
Also, session vars are specific per application name, so if that changes
through to app for any reason, it could cause them to reset... But if that
were true, it should behave the same way from all machines.
Very strange.
