PVCS works fine, but you just can't use CF Studio's built in support.
This is not a big deal -- I've never been too terribly fond of the
"project" tab in Studio, anyway (which is where the integration takes
place).
For you geeks out there, there is a fine GPL took called CVS. Server
runs on UNIX (Linux too) and there is a nice Java client. Web client
too! All can be found at freshmeat.net. Many open source projects, like
Mozilla.org, use CVS so its got to be powerful.
