Hi folks, Kind of off-topic... I'm buying a new webserver to run CFServer 5 (and CFMX in the future) and I'm wondering which processor is best for this CF version. I've heard that P4 use a complete new architeture and many softwares does not make use of its full capabilities.
My options are: 1) PIII 1.13 Mhz (512 cache) 2) P4 1.6 Mhz (512 cache) for both: 1Gb DDR RAM memory SCSI driver etc. Does anybody have a clue if this P3 processor will run "faster" than the P4 for CF5 or I'm talking bullshit? Which one is best? Thanks!!
